Why is my chai burning?Updated 15 days ago
With a standard chai recipe and reasonable heat, burning should not occur.
If you're noticing burning, it's likely due to the heat being too high. We recommend lowering the heat and using the smallest burner on your stove for best results.
We've also found that burning can occur more frequently when using:
High-protein milk
A 100% milk-to-water ratio
Milk that has been previously frozen and thawed
These factors can contribute to scorching, especially when combined with strong heat.
