Why hasn't my Kickstarter order arrived yet?Updated 7 days ago

When we launched our Kickstarter, we estimated a January delivery based on projected order volumes. However, the campaign exceeded expectations, receiving over 7,000 orders. To maintain our commitment to quality and sustainability, we've adopted a phased production and shipping approach. We're also manufacturing in smaller batches to maintain quality. 

To give you some further context:

• Our first batch began shipping in February, and we’ve been steadily working through the queue since then. We've shipped 2,000 Chai Makers to date.

• We are also using sea freight for shipping, which is more sustainable and cost-effective, but slower. It takes around 45 days to ship bulk orders from our manufacturer to our fulfilment centres.

With over 7,000 backers, it’s simply not sensible for us to fulfil all orders at once, especially as a small, new brand launching a brand-new product. We want to scale up responsibly.

We’re committed to delivering something that’s built to last. That means:

• No compromising on sustainability

• No mass production that sacrifices quality
