Why do I have to wait for my pre-order?Updated 7 days ago

When you pre-order a Loka product, you're reserving a unit from our upcoming production run -  just like pre-ordering a book before these are printed. These are not in-stock items ready to ship immediately, but they’re being made, packaged, and prepared just for you.

We produce in batches to maintain quality and reduce waste. Once a production run is complete, items are shipped via sea freight - this keeps our carbon footprint lower which is better for the environment, but it also means transit times are a little longer (typically 30 - 45 days).

We're not a big warehouse operation churning out thousands of units daily. We're building something intentional—from scratch—and we're doing it as sustainably and fairly as possible.

By pre-ordering, you’re helping bring small-batch, independent design to life. You're also helping us plan production, reduce waste, and stay accessible on price.
